Biography

After completing my degree in Government and History I taught briefly in India before joining the HSBC Group as a graduate trainee. After four years, culminating in a role working in the Chairman’s Office, I was headhunted by Coutts Bank to undertake a similar role working for their Chief Executive. After standing for Parliament in the 2015 General Election I decided to return to academia to complete my MA, which I completed successfully in 2016. In the interim I have completed a book about George Orwell, which I am presently pursuing publication for, and in 2019 return to academia to begin my Doctorate, in Modern British History, at Oxford.
