Teaching Experience

My particular area of expertise lies in Economics, Maths & Languages. Through these I have developed a good approach to tackling problems as well as essay writing. I also have the necessary skills to work with a wide range of students which is essential as each student requires a different approach, dependent on their own needs and learning style. I aim to interact well with the students so as to keep them engaged and interested so they can perform to their highest level.

For me, preparation is very important, and I will help the students to the best of my ability through structuring the sessions beforehand. Further, I am able to help with relevant skills and work experience to undertake in order to build up a strong personal statement and CV, having assisted a number of students with their applications for UCAS. I also interact well with younger students and can assist with reading and numerical skills as well as school entrance exams and aim to stir a passion for learning. With older students I look to try and improve revision and exam strategies so as they are able to work confidently on their own and achieve their goals.

Biography

I am currently working in the music as a manager which is thoroughly enjoyable and has given me a good grasp of the industry and business side. I am flexible and am very passionate about education. Thus, I want to help young students as I find it extremely rewarding. Not only do I want them to reach their academic goals but further their communication skills and confidence outside the classroom.

I am a very keen sportsman outside of work and play football 3 times a week as well as attending a lot of football games all over the country and am always up for a kickabout with the students!
